why this sentence needs the word 'no' ? Is " Delay no more " chinglish? E.G:

if u say "i dont want no more" then it's double negative. it's not correct..
u can hear this kind of words alot from black people..
the use of negative + "no more" usually happens in spoken english; and it's most likely black english. not only black people...even some irish will say it sometime what do u mean no more?? p.sthe proverb of "no more" is "please go to die." as the others mentioned,"I don't want no more ." is a sentence which is double negative,and it means the same as "I don't want any more."
